In the year 2014, Ducati unveiled its latest versions of Monster and Panigale variants along with their new model-“Diavel” – The Ducati Diavel, The Ducati Diavel Carbon and its next version-The Ducati Diavel Strada. The quirky names that Ducati comes up for their bikes generates quite interest among the bikers world, just as this super bike, is named Diavel, which in Italian simply means “DEVIL”.
The Ducati Diavel Carbon specs are as follows – It comes with the 1198.4cc Testastretta 11° L-Twin cylinder four valve Desmodromic engine that is liquid cooled and the exhaust is a lightweight 2-1-2 system with catalytic converter and two lambda probes ,also has lightweight composites and milled aluminium components allowing it to be more than just visually attractive but great on road performance as well.
On the other hand, the Ducati Diavel Strada is equipped additional with side bags, wider windshield, new seat with backrest and raised handlebars with heated grips. It has fixed pillion rider foot pegs and a luggage system with integrated grab rails all for comfort and stability.
The Ducati Diavel is a lightweight street-bike that allows for three electronic Riding Modes along with the Ride by Wire and the Ducati Traction Control. It comes along with an electronic key for a hands free ignition, and the carbon components makes it a light weight.
The Ducati Diavel specs are similar to that of both its Carbon and Strada models. All the 3 models are equipped the Testastretta 11 degree, L-Twin engine with 4 Desmodromically actuated valve cylinders. Ducati Diavel exhaust system comes in Remus Hypercone Slip-On.
