The Italian manufacturer’s naked sportbike, The Benelli BN 600R is the sporty version of the base BN 600 model. It has a modern design and an exciting all new 600 cc, 4 cylinder power plant and high specification suspension.
The R model is powered by the same engine as its brother, namely a 4-stroke, liquid cooled, 4 valves DOHC engine which generates 82 horsepower at 11500 rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 10500 rpm, and is paired to a 6-speed transmission. The bike has a top speed of mph.
The frame features a Benelli signature steel trestle section, matched to an rear frame that mounts the rear suspension. Other specs include Marzocchi front forks and adjustable Sachs rear shock absorbers. The BN600i is also fitted with true superbike specification braking components; 320 mm floating front discs, calipers and a rear dual piston caliper.
The Benelli BN 600R and 600I review rolls on aluminium 17″ wheels with 120/70 and 180/55 tires. It has been provided a 180 mm ground clearance to the new BN 600 R and also a wheelbase of 1480 mm.
